rap d'amore
In this music video, the director and I shared one goal: to capture the 80s — but seen through the lens of a present memory. An unreachable dream, resting among our most beautiful recollections. I decided to push the colors, building the dreamlike essence of the 80s around magenta hues and warm skin tones. Glamour had to reign supreme — it needed to feel like a dream so vivid, so desirable, even for those who never lived those moments. The daytime scenes unfold through alternating split screens, where each frame is locked into a 1:1 aspect ratio before blending into a 2:1 canvas — a visual play between individuality and unity. Then, the disco sequence floods the frame with magenta and warmth, immersing everything in a nostalgic, magnetic glow.
